Hello blogger friends!
I'm here with the October challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles. The theme is fall and the scrap twist was to use paint on your layout. (or in my case, mixed media project!) The timing for this was perfect because I was just about to create some canvas' for a class I was teaching so I decided to make them fall related so I could use them for this design team assignment.
For this months Main Challenge Nicole wants us to be inspired by the Fall season
and to look for those everyday miracles around us at this time of year. .
She wants to challenge
us to really look for special moments from the fall season.... maybe something
that we could have overlooked or taken for granted.
So what are you waiting for? Go create! As usual, there is great prized to be won on the SEM blog, just don't forget to link up with them by the end of the month.
Here is what I came up with...
I never cease to see the miracle of changing seasons, especially in the fall. These canvas' remind me that for everything there is a season and there is beauty in each one.

I started these pieces with a layer of gesso, followed by a layer of diecuts and topped off with another layer of gesso. I then added some paint and stamps to add texture. My "ladies" are cut with my cricut machine and my flowers were made with strips of fabric, rolled up.
That's about it, I had a workshop to make these and everyone had a good time. ANYONE can do this so give it a try!!!
I hope you enjoyed this post, I would love it if you left a comment.
Enjoy looking for everyday miracles this autumn!
