The hop is over but I thought I would add a few details about my project. If you didn't see yesterday's post scroll down.
This layout is done on a canvas on which I transferred an image from a graphic 45 paper. I have done many of these in the last 2 weeks and I will post a step by step with pictures a little later but for now I'll tell you that I used sticky back canvas and water....that it's! Very easy, stay tuned for more on that later. The lacy border was made with a punch and a piece of sturdy fabric that I found in a bag of scraps. Perhaps you can identify what it is and let me know!
I just love how the border turned out, it looks like real lace!
The craft paper flowers are graphic 45. For the pink roses I used the rolled paper flower technique which I squished and bent to shape them the way I wanted. I distressed them with vintage photo ink and added a little diamond stickles. For the blue flowers I used sheer ribbon.
I cut four pieces of the same size. The bigger the squares, the bigger your flowers will be.
Next I pinched each piece from the centre
and attached them to a large glue dot.
I finished them off by adding a half pearl to the middle.
Basically Bare pieces...I love ripping the top layer off!
So beautiful! Love the techniques you shared here!
