A Few Challenges Here and There

I've made it a goal this month to participate in a few challenges. Since June ends tommorow I'm going out with a bang! This layout is a combination of three different challenges.

The first challenge is from Scrapping Everyday Miracles where we had to to celebrate the groups in our life! I decided to make a page about some ladies that I scrap with. We also had to add a cluster of embellishment, hence all the flowers. The second challenge is from ScrapFit where we had to develop our own polaroid. If you are wondering why my polaroid is so wide, it's because it's a fujifilm instax wide...and a fake one at that!

For my title, I really wanted to use those chipboard stickers but I wanted them covered with that beautiful paper so I got the wonderful idea of doing an image transfer!

I adhered my letters onto bright colourful spots on the paper and let it dry completely. (using a gel medium)
In the mean time I cut out 18 of these flowers.
Coloured them in with my Big Brush Pens. (at the end I added a layer of glossy accents to make them shine)
I stamped some flowers on a sheet of Clearly for Art modeling film. After cutting them all out I realized I wanted them on a white sheet so I started all over! (no worries, I used them all in the end) I coloured those in too.
As you can see, my image did not transfer!!! I tried it twice and it just didn't work. I've done this before so I'm guessing it's the letters fault! I just added a little paint to them and called it a day!
A little dimensional paint to the edges of my flowers to brighten them up.

My third challenge was Canadian Scrapbooker's "It's a Sketchy Challenge"  I like the simplicity of this sketch, easy and fun to do!
