Hello fellow bloggers, it's time again for another Use It Tuesday challenge. As well as using horded supplies we also had to use "uncut" paper. I'm talking about those papers that are too beautiful to cut. You hold on to them because you can't bare to put your scissors to them or cover them up in any way!
You are you. Now isn't that pleasant? Dr Seuss |
For my project I used a collection that I had held onto for almost a year and a half. I probably could of easily done scrapbook pages with it but it came with instructions to make an album and I really wanted to do that. The hardest part about cutting it up was that it had beautiful artwork on both sides of the paper. The letters and gems
are also long term residents in my stash of supplies. Once my album was finished I had to figure out what I wanted to use it for. After much debate I decided to make it into a journal. I got the idea to write quotes and verses that had to do with being myself. It's something I've been learning lately and this book is the perfect reminder. I want to be myself and not worry about trying to please everyone.
I wanted to write numerous quotes to the album so I added many hidden spots for them using journal tags.
I just love the colourful chipboard that came with this collection. I had no trouble at all using it! Question is, what will I do with the left-overs?!
Stay tuned, tomorrow I will show you the rest of the album!
It would be so awesome if you joined us for this
