SEM September Sketch Challenge

Hello blogger friends!

Today I am showing you my take on the Scrapping Everyday Miracles September Sketch Challenge. It's a simple one and I just loved using it. I was done this layout in no time at all!

I started with this sweet photo of my oldest daughter when she was two. (She is now thirteen!)
Looking at it is such a reminder of her sweet personality and I am so blessed to have her!
I chose these BoBunny papers because purple is her favourite colour, plus it matches her shirt!
I added a bit of gesso to soften the bright colours a bit. I also sanded and distressed the edges.

I didn't want my buttons to look too much like buttons so I added gems to them. I love how they turned out.

The scrap twist was to add mixed alpha tiles to your layout. This part was a little more challenging for me! I still find it difficult to mix lower and upper case letters. Different fonts even harder!

This sketch is from Shimelle.com

I'd love for you to participate in this month's sketch challenge, don't forget the scrap twist! (mixed alpha tiles)
Don't forget to link it up to the post on the  SEM blog, and you will be entered into the draw for the September prize!
