Hello blogger friends!
It's already time for you to dig deep into your stash and join me in this week's Use It Tuesday challenge. For this one you will need to find an un-inked stamp. I don't know about you but I have a habit of buying stamps just because they are in the bargain bin. I collect them but rarely use them! For this layout I use a stamp set that I won a few months ago. It's fate was the same as many of my other sets except because of this challenge, I actually opened the package! Won't you join me?
For this layout there was two things I wanted to try. The first was white space which I love and am trying more and more. The second was to use white on white or light on white. The stamps came with some earth tone inks so I thought it would be perfect. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a second sheet of stamps in the package...they are from Close to my Heart.
I stamped away and then cut each image out. I added a few punched butterflies and called it a day.
My husband didn't understand the whole "white space" idea and thought it needed something more. Perhaps he is right but I love it just the way it is!
As usual, I would love it if you would use your stash to create a project and link it up to UIT.
Be sure to tell us in your post what you used!
Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday December 7th. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE044 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation.
Please make sure to mention you are playing along with a Use It Tuesday challenge (a link is great too!) so we know you are participating.
As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge!
We can't wait to see what you create! Now go Use It!!
This is so beautiful with all those butterflies and the soft tones, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteExcellent use of light on white. I think its great
ReplyDeleteWow! Those butterflies are amazing. Such a stunning layout.
ReplyDeleteSoo beautiful! I love the gentle, soft, neutral tones of the butterfiles!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout! I love the color combination. You know, the same thing happens to me with stamps and punches. I think that it is be because I dont have a studio so e erything is put away. Sometimes it feels like a hassle to look for them. But I think that I'm going to follow your example snd use a one of them in my next layout.
ReplyDeleteMy studio is a huge mess so that doesn't help! But using my stash feels really good!
