Use It Tuesday Challenge #45

Hello Blogger Friends!
Are you ready for another Use It Tuesday Challenge? This week, it's all about Christmas/Hanukkah  and you have until December 21st to use your hoarded items to come up with a project for this challenge!

I have always been really crafty and have gone through many phases! The reason I love mixed media so much is because I get to use all the stuff I bought years ago for various obsessions! At one point about 10 or so years ago, I was really into toll painting. I would find projects in magazines and I would get my dad to cut the wood pieces out for me so I could paint them. Sometimes I would ask him for many cuts of the same piece because I intended to give them away as gifts. Of course that was in the days of me never finishing what I started so as you may guess, I have boxes full of these good intentions! That is the case for today's project. I'm not into toll painting anymore but I sure love collage and paint so here you have it...a finished Christmas project and one less thing in my intentions box!

I started of with some hoarded Prima papers that I Modge Podged to my wood. Added lots of layers of ink and paint followed by some hoarded letter stickers and there you have it! Oh and that really amazing flower is actually an earring that I was hoarding in my "jewelery for art" stash...I wish Grandma hadn't lost the other one cuz I really love it!

That's it for me today, hope you will join in the fun challenge. Don't forget to link up at Use It Tuesday for your chance to be a guest designer there!
