Hello blogger friends!
I'm back from CHA (Craft and Hobby Association Conference and Trade Show). I have finally caught up on my sleep and I can't believe how much a three hour time change affects me. Good thing it's not on the other side of the world!
Well enough about CHA for now, I'm here to show you my latest project for Gina's Designs.
This is the first time I have done a steampunk project. I didn't think it was my style but it was nice to do a piece that was masculine for a change. I'm looking forward to using up the rest of my steampunk collection!
I used mostly distress crackle paint from Ranger on this piece, that and a little paint.
I sanded the truck and bird to roughen them up a bit. Everything is holding together with Helmar 450 glue.
Here is the list of laser cut pieces that I used, linked to Gina's Designs Store.
Don't forget, you can still enter to win a Gina's Designs prize pack, comment on all GD projects this month for extra entries. See the post here.
I hope you have a fabulous and creative day!
It can be difficult to even find products for making a masculine card, layout or project. Gina's Designs chipboard sets really fit the bill!
ReplyDeleteYour project is very creative Marjolaine. I love the colours and the way you layered all of the pieces. Thanks for sharing this project with us. Karen :)
Love the textures and layering Marjolaine :)
