details on how I made my mini birdcage album.
For the cages I used pewter distress crackle paint leaving some areas bare.
Once dry I added walnut stain to fill in some of the cracks.
Next I colored my birds with a big brush marker and then added a layer of Gelato.
For the album, I covered each page with patterned paper, then I rubbed in some Gelato and inked the edges with the walnut stain. I also used the stain with a stencil to add more texture to the background.
Using my black big brush marker I stamped each page.
My birds needed a little shine and a layer of rock candy crackle paint did the trick!
Since my Gelatos were out I used one to color my ribbon so it would match perfectly.

I am partial to birds so you know I love the bird cages...and I love bling..so great combination there. You used products that I have on hand so I love that as well. Thank you so much for sharing the tips with us.
