Welcome to Gina's Designs Blog Hop!
Since April 15 – 21 is World Creativity & Innovation Week, Gina's Designs decided to hold a blog hop in celebration of Creativity! We challenge everyone to try something new and craft outside their comfort zone. Here is my project for this hop,
I have a confession to make. Although I used a new technique for my project it wasn't exactly out of my comfort zone. I kind of forgot about that part and to be honest, I'm a little crazy in the craft room so there isn't much out of my comfort zone when it comes to chipboard! I hope that you'll try this technique!
Step One: Paint your chipboard with a layer of gesso or white paint.
Step two: Once your chipboard is dry, stamp it with a script.

Step four: Use a blending tool to apply distress ink to the chipboard.
Step five: Use a paper towel to remove any ink away from the embossed areas.
Add a little Walnut Stain Distress ink the the edges of your chipboard.

ReplyDeleteMarjolaine, I know exactly what you mean about being a little crazy in the craftroom. I'm willing to try almost anything (as a lot of my clothes can attest). Gesso is awesome! From the first time that I tried it last year, I have never been without a bottle or two! Great project, I love it.
