Leave your Mark Art Journal Class
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking Christy Butters' Leave Your Mark art journal class. Signing up for on-line classes is a bit of a pass time for me, so is watching the videos. You could say that I'm addicted to learning, I really can't get enough. The problem is that I almost never start any of the projects, much less finish them! It was different this time. I completed this page, start to finish in one sitting. Actually I did it in one standing, anyone else work standing up? What I loved about Christy's class was that the information was given in bite size pieces. I wasn't overwhelmed at the thought of doing a page. I also tend to shy away from spray inks but Christy made me believe that I could do it, and you can too! Normally when I use sprays I only use two or three very safe colors that I know work well together otherwise I make mud. With a few helpful tips from the class I was able to create a page with no accidental brown on it. What a relief! If you would like to take this class it's available at The Art Studio .
aw...Thanks!!!!
ReplyDelete(and I ALWAYS work standing up)
You are one talented artist, Christy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with us. And keep creating something beautiful, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI am fine sitting at home and I work on my lap. At crops the chairs and tables are never the right height and I usually forget a pillow to sit on so I often work at crops standing up but then I come home with a really stiff and aching back.
ReplyDeleteYour page is beautiful!
