Gina's Designs with The Robin's Nest

Hello blogger friends!
I'm here today with Gina's Designs and The Robin's Nest.

When I received these papers from The Robin's Nest my mind immediately went to Africa and with having to make a mini display tray this week I thought the hot air balloon would be perfect. I can imagine myself going for a ride over the jungles of Africa and seeing beautiful giraffes running around! And elephants too, of course! The theme this week at Gina's Designs is Heidi's Stars so I included some of those too.

For my background, I wanted to change the teal color a bit so it would blend in with my balloon. To do this I used Claudine's Studio Paints from Ranger. Since they are transparent you can still see the giraffe pocking through. I added a few flowers for some dimension. (OK, so there's more than a few. I got carried away, what can I say!) For my clouds I added a piece of mosquito netting which ties it all up nicely!
