Gelatos are Coming, GELATOS are Coming!!!

Yes!!! The long awaited Faber-Castell Gelatos and Stampers Big Brush Pens are on their way here! I got to play with these back in July when they first came out and they are so awesome! They've been hard to find up here in Canada but the wait is almost over.  All this time, I've been using my little sample pack...one blue gelato and one green big brush pen...I've been going crazy waiting for more! You'll want all the colors, I'm sure!  If you haven't seen these you're probably thinking that they look like chapsticks...and they do. They're full of yummy goodness! (but please don't eat them, it's just a figure of speech!)  These are not just for stamping,  for more ideas you can find many on-line videos using different techniques. Here is one using both the gelatos and big brush pens...click here and enjoy!

Here is Faber-Castell definition of the  Gelatos   "Creamy rich colors blend smoothly • Transform opaque Gelato colors into translucent tints with water • Great for adding color and sheen to chipboard •  Color Gelatos are creamy sticks infused with brilliant color. The color glides easily onto papers and can then be dissolved with water to create watercolor effects or left to dry for vibrant bursts of color. Try stamping with the Color Gelatos or apply a field of color and use a stamp to remove the color. Color Gelatos work wonderfully on flocked papers and embellishments too. Color Gelatos are acid-free and odorless."

And the Big Brush Pens..."Perfect for even, crisp and controlled stamped images • India ink won't bleed through paper crafts, cards or journals • Unsurpassed lightfast quality • Sturdy nib will not fray Apply to your stamps for even color and crisp images every time. It’s perfect for applying multiple colors to stamps and for use on all types of papers and even canvas. The odorless India ink won’t bleed through your pages. It is waterproof, lightfast and archival so your images stay bright and vibrant for many years to come."

I love India ink! If you haven't tried it, you must!

These amazing pens are also sold in individual colors, vibrant and beautiful. Perfect for any artwork!
