Gelato Make-n-Take

Last July I discovered gelatos from Design Memory Craft and was very excited to bring them into my store. The problem was that my excitement for them didn't spread right away. Sure they look intriguing in their neat little packaging but people get a little intimidated sometimes when they've never tried something. I brought them to a retreat last week-end and had the opportunity to let people play with them. A few ladies had been adventuress before hand and had bought some but mostly the  frenzy didn't happen until after they got to try them. I ended up selling 29 packs of these yummy goodness. Hope those ladies are having fun with them. I had taken many pictures but somehow they disappeared, my apologies if you are not on here. I got the idea for this make-n-take on the Design Memory Craft Blog You can see the tutorial there. I skipped the gesso and used watercolor paper but still got fantastic results. I love doing it in books too like is shown on their tutorials. They have amazing ideas on their blog, the design team there is super creative!

Kim had a knack for it!

Me teaching...

  1. Some of the mess we made...I kept the paper to make a mini album.
