For today's Why Waste Wednesday I used a sketch from Page Maps and a colour combo from Photo Card Boutique (I found it on Pinterest and can't find this one on the website but Angie's got some fabulous colour combos for you to check out,) As usual I used only scraps for this layout. The pink sheet of paper is old so it counts for using my stash. I found some matching buttons and used gelatos to colour my chipboard pieces. The flower was a make-n-take from a crop I went to last September. I was glad to find a use for it. I had planned to ink it up before putting it on a page but I forgot. Actually, I was in a rush. I was at a scrapbooking retreat last week-end and I had until 11PM to submit my page to get points for my team...we came in last! :-( I considered putting eyes on it so it would look like a snake but decided it was prettier as a flower! My pile of scraps is shrinking and that is making me really happy!
