I know it's Wednesday and you're expecting a layout made entirely out of scraps but I've decided that on weeks where I post a Use It Tuesday challenge I won't do a Why Waste Wednesday. Either way, I'm using my stash! Today I am posting a layout done for the sketch challenge over at Authentique Paper
Everything but the chipboard and bottle caps is Authentique!
I also made this layout for a challenge on the Scrapfit blog. The challenge was to use negative space. To do that I used the negative space from my arrows as well as from my waves. If you look closely to my bottle caps you'll see that I also used a negative space from a flower.
For the bottle caps I used a few of the Authentique circle stickers that "happened" to be the perfect size! The rest I had to cut out to make them fit. I added some Glossy Accents on top to make them look like gems.
A little bling for my pleasure....
Love what you did with the arrows and the flower---it's amazing how much further we can make our stuff go if we consider using the negative as well as the positive! Thanks for "stepping" with ScrapFIT!
ReplyDeleteYou have done a great job, Marjolaine, on this great layout. Authentique is one of my favorite manufacturers, and you have gracefully taken their product and showcased your photos! Neither detracts from the other! This is a win-win marriage of product and photos!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous job on your layout! I adore the bottle caps!
ReplyDeleteThank you, those bottle caps were a lot of fun to make!
DeleteThis is a great layout! I like how you used the bottle caps! Beautiful page!
