Carta Bella Mini Album

Hello blogger friends, it's the last day of 2012! Since I am on the Design team for Gina's Designs for 2013 I have been using up as much of my old chipboard as I can while I wait for my first shipment from Gina. So other than my pre-scheduled post on the 7th, (lots of old chipboard there...) my focus will be Gina's amazing designs!
And now for the album...it's from Fancy Pants and it's been sitting in my store for way too long! I also used the Alphabet Junction collection from Carta Bella, designed by the fabulous Melanie Ritchie. It's my second project with this collection and I still have plenty of it for a third so you will be seeing it again I'm sure!

To cover my chipboard I used a number of different media. Some is painted and stamped, other has crackle paint on it but my favourite pieces are the ones with WOW Embossing powder on  them!
The decorative tape is from 7 Gypsies...not usually a manufacturer that I would mix with such a cute collection but it worked for me!

Yes, I dusted off the old decorative scissors for this project. Remember those? They just seemed to be perfect for this album, I'm glad I used them.

That's it for today, I hope you have a wonderful last day of 2012!

  2. I started out with decorative scissors then moved on to the silhouette and now Im looking again at the simplicity of manual versus electric and computers. Your album is super cute!

    1. This will sound crazy but often I'm too lazy to use the cutting machine! It's easy but so much work at the same time...
