As you probably already guest, this post was pre-scheduled as blogging is the last thing on my mind today! I am very sad to say that this will be my very last post with Use It Tuesday as this term is over and I have too many other plans for next year. So now for this week's challenge...it's all about 2013! As usual you will need to dig into your stash and use something (or many somethings) that is hoarded. You will have until January 4th 2013 to link up to UIT and I really hope you do!
For my project I created a canvas using hoarded chipboard letters and some hoarded fancy tissue paper from 7 Gypsies.
Step1: adhere chipboard or foam letters onto 12x12 canvas (or a thin wooden board)
Step 3: Cover with a second layer of Mod Podge
Step 4: Using a paint brush, apply a coat of Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam to the surface of the letters. I used Caspian Sea. Allow to dry or use a heat tool.
Step 5: Apply a coat of Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze. I used Saffron. Allow to dry or use a heat tool.
Step 6: Use white paint to add a very thin layer to the letters. Allow to dry.Step 7: Use a black Big Brush Marker from Faber-Castell to outline letters.
Step 8: Apply a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint. Allow to dry on it's own.
Step 9: Randomly dab white paint around canvas as well as Sangria Glimmer Glaze.
Step 10: Use black Big Brush Marker around the edge of canvas. And now you're done!
YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH!!!
